The Journal of Practice Theory is now open for submissions!

The editorial board is pleased to announce that the Journal of Practice Theory is now open for submissions.

The first issue – Practice Theory: Past, Present, Future - is in production and will be published in Nov 2025 with contributions from: Thomas Alkemeyer; Marcelo Bispo; Silvia Gherardi; Paula Jarzabkowski; Stephen Kemmis; Cecily Maller; Wanda Orlikowski; Barbara Poggio;  Joe Rouse; Seweryn Rudnicki;  Dale Southerton; Stephen Turner, and Dan Welch.

The journal is open for submissions on any topic that advance the field of practice theory.

The journal accepts different kinds of contributions - see Types of Contribution - and makes use of the online format to publish immediately following the peer-review and editorial process - see Publishing Schedule.

In particular, we welcome contributions that speak to the special section theme for the second issue on 'social change'.
