Publication Schedule

The Journal of Practice Theory accepts submissions all year round and the online format enables us to publish articles online immediately following the editorial process.

Even so, we collect articles into issues and our current aim is to publish one issue per year, in November.

As a rough indication, if you would like for your work to be considered for the November issue, it is necessary to submit to the journal by the end of February of the same year.

The first issue will be published in November 2025.

The production length from submission to publication is roughly 8 months. This includes:

• Editorial assessment;
• Peer-review process;
• Production of proofs;
• Proofreading by authors;
• Implementing of the House Style by authors;
• Publication.

The timings indicated above are estimates and depend upon the type and quality of content submitted.
